I have a 2006 Yoder Toder and yours appears to be a 2007 or 2008. Everything is the same as mine except for the Silver Shadow badge on the side. I would estimate the original costs to be around 5500.00 to 6000.00.

Hi Sandra,

Welcome!!! From you pictures it doesn't look like it has a mattress? It makes a world of difference having a good mattress in a teardrop trailer. A matter of fact, that's why we built ours; to sleep on one.

You might try a test camp in you driveway. It's fun.

All the Best,

Dave

I think the Title says a 2006.
It has two twin mattresses. We had just taken them out to check and see if what it looked like underneath. It also had a few Pendleton wool blankets inside the storage area, which we had dry cleaned. Fortunately it has a little heater that goes in teh diamond plate box so if it is cold this weekend we will sleep easy.

We will take it out this weekend and see what happens!

So if we did sell it would be fair to ask for 3500?

Thanks for all your comments! I really appreciate it.

A new one is $8000. I would ask for more than $3500 and if it doesn't generate any interest, then come down a little. Personally I would start at $4500-$5000 since it has barely been used. Don't start at your bottom dollar because most people's first offer will be less than what you advertise it for.

I have owned and sold a 2007 4x8 Pleasant Valley, which is the predecessor to the Silver Shadow, a 2011 5x8 Siver Shadow, and now have a 2008 5x10 Pleasant Valley. 3500 would be a bargain for that trailer! Ronnie :)

Hi Sandra:

Welcome aboard and what a cute Teardrop you received from your mother-n-law (my condolences to you and your family). I'm like the rest of the crowd - try it, you just might like it! I know they are small, compact, tiny, etc., but they are easy to pull and you can just about set up anywhere. A side tent would make a perfect extra room for the kiddos or a screen room would make an extra living room for you to relax in out of the elements if the kids aren't with you.

I had an 5'x10' that I loved! I sold it because I wanted a 'standy', which I have but she is a big girl and pulling her is so different than pulling the Teardrop. Wish I still had the Tear just to have something for a quick getaway but I don't have the room for two.

I hope you enjoy your camper. I promise you will get a lot of looks, questions and compliments. Teardrops are just full of personality!
