Hi. My name is benny, age-older"n"dirt. A long time ago I built a 5X9 Benroy. Well the other day I got the urge again and I am planning a 4X9 weekender foamie. I went to lowes today and started pricing building matls. Thanks to all the great folks who contribute to tnttt.

I have started testing wood frame, 3/4 foam, canvas glued with tite bond 2. I did it yesterday, results look very promising. The test was only 1 sq. ft With 1X2 on two sides But for the build I think I should use PL urethane for the wood to foam and titebond for the skin application. Last night I was seriously looking at the shape of a Star trek shuttle craft but!!! I will post pics as soon as I have finished the basic drawings. thanks benny

When I start posting pictures I'll put them in the build journal. I hope to have it built before deer season opens in November. :NC
