Hi from Colorado. So new I actually was born yesterday, account-wise. But I've been in love with teardrops far longer...since Tuesday, when I discovered them while looking for a simple camper to rent for an upcoming 4-nighter. But it was love at first site. I lived in a tent in 2002 for 90+ days doing field work in AK, so I can sleep on the ground. I've just gotten kinda whiny about it in my 50s. So, I'm going to build a teardrop. Thanks for this great forum.

Welcome! You'll really enjoy the build process. I loved seeing what others did while I was planing my build. I ended up building a very minimal TD that fits my needs and purposes perfectly. The wonderful thing about a homebuilt is that you can change it anytime.

Welcome to the Forum.
There is a lot more than just the build!
The camping lifestyle and the people you will meet will amaze you, even more than the comfort and the ease of movement and camping that you will encounter in your new TD.

Hi and Welcome, This is one of those rare things, the more you do, the better it gets. Mine is at a point were it works great for camping so my current TD projects are for style points ( running boards, folding bench, roof rack, articulating ice chest holder). School is never out.
Enjoy, Chris
