Hello from BadgerGuy

Postby BadgerGuy » Mon Sep 01, 2014 1:59 pm

Hi, just joined the tnttt forum. I am just in the planning stage of my teardrop, but plan to get started quickly. Right now am looking at a slightly modified Grumman2 profile, to put on a 5 x 10 frame. I have been viewing lots of posts on this forum and getting lots of ideas. Hoping I did not bite off more than I can chew. Any way I'm sure I will be spending a lot of time here and look forward to getting some great advice. With that, GO PACK GO.

I'm from Cumberland, Wisconsin. About an hour and a quarter north of Eau Claire, and a couple hours by car northeast of Minneapolis & St. Paul, Minnesota. Drive a black Jeep Wrangler and want to either pull a black (maybe with flames) td or a wood look of some kind. I like a nice cedar look, or my real dream is a log cabin td. Worried about weight with that idea. Still undecided on final look..........any suggestions? I'm not fond of the aluminum look.

Welcome! Have fun with your build! Check out the Tearjerkers web site. The St. Croix Chapter has a large gathering coming up in Mauston Wisconsin that should have over 100 Tears that you can take a look at. A gathering is a great place to meet people and get ideas for your own build.
