Newbie from Western Washington

Postby batycb » Sat Oct 04, 2014 12:18 am

Been lurking around awhile and finally decided to join up. I have done ever form of outdoor living from foxhole to fifth wheel. I am wanting to build a teardrop so I can have it my way and to fill up all my FREE time after retiring from the Army (oh and my back hates the cold hard ground). Can wait to see you all at the campground!!!

This is a great place for build information, but do remember that it will take at least twice as long as you think it will.
Ours did! But we have had two seasons in it now and have met some great people.
We love the new lifestyle the TD has afforded us.
Good Luck! and keep us posted.

First,
Congrats on your retirement :applause: , I retired from the Coast Guard. It's great.

This forum is awesome, there is a lot of knowledge on teardrop building here. Be sure to keep an eye out for outings to visit. Everyone we met is more than willing to share their successes and mistakes.

Even when you get your teardrop completed  It's never really done. After every outing we go to we find something else that will make it better. It's a never ending build, but its FUN!!!!!

Can't wait to see you at the campgrounds.
