Hello! First off,all the info on this site is awesome!
We're new to teardrops but are wanting to build one for our family of three. I like the aspect of them being so portable and easy to tow. My wife likes them because they're not a tent. hahaha
I've looked at several builds here that include a bunk for the kiddo. Great info here, so much that it's definitely overwhelming!

I'll have more time to start on this project but for now I'm reading here and starting to look for a frame. I've read about the widely used HF frame and others and also read that a popup frame works well for the size of teardrop we're needing (for the extra bunk). There is a popup available locally but I'm not sure I want to have the mess of tearing it apart in the driveway honestly. And not sure how I would dispose of the unwanted parts.

I may just wait until I come across a used trailer that will work well, or buy a HF.

And, if you're in mid-missouri and don't mind, I'd like to see your teardrop!!!

welcome to the madness.
You might want to consider having a frame built and being able to chose an axle (My vote Flexride). This also allows adding brakes. Our first tear did not have them our second does. This also means you get axle placement correct with out having to relocate them, (its a balancing act).
