Hello from St. Louis

Hello everyone.

I acquired a 1937 (i think) teardrop about 5 years ago, and have been very slowly going thru the rebuild process. The history of the trailer is it was built or bought by my wifes grandparents neighbors in 1937 (according to title of trailer). The neighbors passed away and gave it to us, we hauled it back to St. Louis where it sat and I stared at it for many months. I finally decided that it needed a full rebuild because all of the wood was way too rotten.

I haven't been able to find any 'before' pictures yet, here is how it looks currently.

I'll start another build thread to hopefully push me to get moving.

Looks like a great project!! Are most of the original amenities still in good order?

The only amenity in it was a the old cooler box, but it was all corroded and nasty.

Oh, also meant to mention that I kept the aluminum from one side panel and the top, it was used as the template for the new sides.
