Thanks for inviting me tom the party. I am on the tail end of a travel trailer remodel, and my next project (I hope) is a smaller trailer for road trips. The travel trailer is more of a "stay in 1 place awhile"trailer. How big can a Harbor Freight trailer (1720 lb trailer) be expanded to with out moving the axle or welding. The wife gets a bit claustrophobic so I want as much real estate as I can get. I want to try a smaller build first, just to see how it goes. Weight isn't an issue, my truck can pull 5000 lbs n it's sleep. Any help will be appreciated.

Welcome Tom my wife is claustrophobic also so I got a cargo trailer and she is good with that it the stand up thing I think a old vintage trailer would have been nice also
