Hello from Pittsburgh.

Good evening everyone!
There is one thing the wife and I always agree on. we love camping. our first date was a weekender at Raccoon State Park and nine years later, we still love quality time around the fire. however, a few things have changed in the past two years.
First, the wife made the leap to obtain her nursing degree. so she became a full time employee AND a night time nursing student. weekend clinical training took our camping time down to zero.
second, a ten pound mini me arrived two weeks before she started classes! I am now a full time maintenance tech AND diaper changer! I love every minute of it though. I forgot how much fun matchbox cars really are!
Well brighter days are around the corner folks. the boy turns two this November and the wife graduates will honors next August. winter is fast approaching here in Pa. and I have a project. A beat up old Coleman pop up with more busted fiberglass and rotted canvas than I can stand. but she was FREE! how can one say no to that?
My dad and I always talked about a teardrop camper. he loves the look and simplistic idea of one as do I. when the beater pop up fell in my lap, I jumped on it and started combing the interweb for pictures and plans. can you all guess where the most awesome teardrop photos were linked to?
So here I am. with a whole lot of hope and plans to get my little camper put together by next summer. and I have a LOT of reading to do. the talent I have seen on this forum blows me away. please bear with me as I bug a few of you with questions I am sure you have answered a hundred times.
