Hello, just joined, I am in the Phoenix area. The wife and I are retired now and just sold our full size travel trailer, we were tired of dealing with pulling and set up on a 28' bumper pull with a slide out and the gas usage! Traded the diesel truck in and back to a 1/2 ton 4X4 pickup. Looking at what we want to do next either a weekender or northern lite type build or a cargo trailer conversion. It didn't help that the HOA changed the rules and we were having to pay for storage of our RV. So, we use an RV for trips, camping and I use it for hunting.
Trying to decide what is best for us, but it would either have to be stored in the garage or not visible over the 6' RV gate, although I could install some shallow wheel trenches to get the new trailer lower in the side yard if needed. Just looking at different options and reading up for now!

Welcome aboard. Check out the build pages for some great ideas. I looked through 9 or 10 pages before I started mine. I now have three years and 6500 miles on mine.
