Waiting is the Worst Part

Howdy from CT
I ordered a TC teardrop that can't here fast enough.
I drive a kitted out 2015 Outback I use to explore the northeast and beyond

My current setup is quite nice, but not really winter friendly. SO ill be using the teardrop for longer trips that I can set up basecamp and explore out from instead of place to place like i typically do, And for longer trips (at least 6 planned next year) to do some discrete camping on the way

Wait until you experience Teardrop camping! :D
You will never climb that ladder again!

Welcome aboard, wagonfoddom!! Nice Subbie. I have a 2016 Forester XT, and I know what you mean on the waiting. I'm going to build my own 'drop, but still in the planning stages, and wish I was already in the camping stage.

How about a write-up on how you kitted out the Outback?

We are on Subaru number 14, wife and I both have Outbacks. The only mods I have made are rally springs in the rear of my 3.6L which cured this

Welcome from a Wisconsin TCTeardrop owner! I ordered mine in November of 2012 and picked it up in Feb. 2013. Spent that time mulling over countless décor themes and ways to customize it to our needs. Since then sewed up bedding, curtains, rearranged the shelving, added vinyl tiles to the galley floor, made my own zippered screen doors, painted inside the galley and sleeping compartment. There's threads over in the Lady Teardroppers section with photos if you'd like to check them out.

Have put thousands of miles on "Solitude", most of them bumpy back roads---(no interstates for us if we can help it!). This is one tough little trailer. We haul with a Dodge Dakota and you hardly know the TC is back there--it pulls like a dream.

I hope you'll be just as happy with your TCTeardrop as we are with ours. Maybe we'll see you on the Teardrop Trail someday!

I certainly hope so.

My biggest issue is time. Just a few weeks after i get it, i have to have it ready for a magazine shoot, so i have ALOT of work to do (all the wiring for 12v and solar, shower power, water system, rebuild the galley, and then decorate the interior. Its gonna be a packed few weeks, AND i have to get a camping trip in before the deadline too. Its gonna be rough
