Hi from the Bay Area

Postby tfs104 » Sun Dec 27, 2015 4:01 pm

I'm glad I found this forum. I'm a new Dad who wants to spend time outdoors with my family. My wife says no to tent camping now that we have our son for safety reasons (bears etc). I saw an article in Sunset Magazine on teardrops and thought this might be a good solution. I'm itching to get into welding and metal work after being a woodworker for about 12 years. I'm hoping to learn a lot from you guys and borrow your best ideas.

Welcome aboard Tom and Congrats on the new member to the family... :shake hands: :shake hands:

The have been a couple of TD's on this site that had a bunk of sorts for a young child... I can't remember the build and will keep looking for you and hope someone else comes forward...

Good luck and don't forget to add pics of ideas and build progress... :pictures: :pictures:
Happy Camping & Building,
