New from Seattle

Postby scottychop » Mon Jan 11, 2016 10:25 pm

Well, we just sold our beloved '84 Vanagon Westfalia. I've always wanted a capable trailer be it teardrop or pop-up that could accommodate my wife and young son. This place is a treasure trove of knowledge! Nice to see some cross over from Expedition Portal as well. I am now in the lurking phase of development and hope to come to some kind of direction in the next few months.

Any young families our there that want to share their experiences with trailer design?

The pic is from a road trip to Yellowstone a few years back. I believe this was on our way out to Mammoth Hot Springs in the North. Awesome trip.

Welcome aboard scottychop... :shake hands:

"Any young families our there that want to share their experiences with trailer design?"
to answer your question... You have come to the right place to find ideas and advice on a new build... There are volumes of information on the forum and you should be able to find something you like...
:applause: :applause: :applause:

That was a beautiful shot you took in Jellystone; my wife and I made a trip through there in 2015 and I agree, IT IS AWESOME...
:awesome: :awesome:

Good luck in your searching and there are many TD's that can sleep more than two, especially if one person is fairly small...

Happy Camping & Building,
