The 13 digit vin conundrum

Hello everyone. Eagle Elton here in the hills and hollers of Eastern Ky. I started out to building my own teardrop then I found what looks like a silver shadow but I don't know for sure exactly what it is. It has LIL on the title, a 2009 model with a 13 digit vin instead of a 17 digit vin, and it needs a lot of work. It is a 5x10. Whoever had it was very unforgiving in taking care of it and let the galley hatch leak, stripped out the stereo, and took the door seals and trim off of the bottoms. No stove or sink, wiring is a complete mystery, and I hope that you guys and gals can put up with this ol' hillbilly newbie to help figure some of this stuff out. I am no stranger to camping. From primitive camping, to a 26 ft travel trailer with the comforts of home, I have done it. I am prior service military, Air Force Veteran, I have also two wonderful sons and a sweet granddaughter all of whom I am proud of. I divorced in 2005 and did the best I could to finish raising my boys. Now after 11 years of being single, and now an empty nester, I have met a wonderful woman and we are engaged. We wanted something small just for us and something that we could pull with either of our pickups, mine is a Ranger, hers a Dakota. We are wanting to go boondocking off grid for the beauty, solitude and peacefulness. So now I will go figure out the picture thingie and get some eye candy for you to look at or maybe cry about lol. And if anyone can help me to identify my teardrop, I would be much appreciative. Forgive me if I goof up something in the posts or pics.:worship:

I'm just an ol' hippie tryin' real hard to adjust.
Enjoy the flowers along the way today, for tomorrow they all may be gone.

Welcome Eagle! Not near Paducah Ky. are you? Sounds like you've got a project to get ready for some serious camping.

Good luck and we like Pic's! :pictures: :pictures: :pictures:
I fear the day that technology will surpass our human interaction, the world will have a generation of idiot's.

Hi Red
You are clear across the other side of the state from me. I am about 75 miles east of Lexington. I got new pics up in my album. I don't know how to see everyone's albums but I did figure out how to make one, which was a chore to do on a fire tablet. :D

Welcome to the Forum
Teardrops are the best thing that ever happened to empty nesters. And especially those who like to camp and are in a new relationship. ;)
