In Beautiful Dayton, OH. Planning a "Standie"

Postby vigilant1 » Mon Mar 14, 2016 7:56 pm

Greetings,
I've been pawing through the posts here for a few days, and am happy to have now stumbled aboard the train. I'm hoping I fit in--I can already see some rub spots!
- I'm planning on a small (6.5' x 13' body) "standie", which puts me in the "ttt" side of the house--I think the TD tribe outnumbers the folks like me who are going a bit bigger.
- Probably a foamie, but likely a glass/epoxy beast rather than the TB II and fabric variety. But, we'll see. My inspiration right now is the "Big Pink"--but mine will NOT be that classy.
- Maybe some creature comforts aboard :o (water, shore power, etc). A budget build, but probably more than a hard-sided tent on wheels. Again--we'll see.

Thanks much for sharing all the great knowledge here. I'll try to use the "search" function and not be a pain in the neck.
