Hi everyone,
A few weeks ago, when I was looking to buy a van and fit it as a camper I stumbled on teardrops and I fell in love. First I was looking to buy one, but the more I read, the more I was thinking about building my own. Now it's decided. I'm definitely going to build one!
I'm looking to build a 300x150 cm (~ 10'x5') trailer to fit me, my girlfriend and two small dogs, to escape for weekends or even a longer roadtrip. We also love to cook, so a nice galley with a lots of counter space is a must. We don't want a sink, so a pull-out surface or two will do the job. I'm also a freelancing software developer, so a bit of extra battery juice won't hurt to charge my laptop in case of emergency.
Here are the plans I'm working on:
So basically, a bed for dogs in front (we really don't want to have dogs in our bed when it's raining), a bed and a galley in the back. I'd really like to hear some feedback on this layout before I get my hands dirty.
