New From NY

Been wanting to do a teardrop for a couple years now. Finally found this site and I'm so glad I did. I only have a Cavalier so it can't weigh much, I already had the idea of using foam to keep weight down. I found the subforum for foamies and got some fantastic tips, this isn't going to be a fast build by any means as money is a little tight but I can always plan and make a list of parts.

Just wanted to say hi, and again say this was a great find.

Oh, and here's the tow vehicle and our current camping setup.

Welcome aboard, Burley. Good luck on your build, actually it is possible to build a teardrop that is very light. I have one that weighs only 245 lbs, on a Harbor Freight trailer, and my 4 banger Chevy Cruise pulls it as if I have an adult in the back seat.
