Newbie from Durham, NC

Hi,

My name is Eddie and I am toying with the idea of building a teardrop to pull behind my 71 Cutlass convertible I have owned since HS (a looooong time). No sure which direction to go but want it to look as vintage as is practical. We already have a TT and have camped for years and years. Just want another outlet to combine both interests.

Welcome from Savannah GA. Beautiful car, I'm sure that attracts lots of attention alone but with a teardrop that will really draw a crowd. Good luck with your plans for a teardrop. Lots of gatherings once you get your project done but feel free to come and check out everyone's teardrop.

Thanks folks! I only hope my teardrop turns out half as good as most I see around here!!!

Redneck Teepee, I see you are from CA. I am not but the pic is from Mono Lake.

Well, I did take the plunge and started on my teardrop last summer. Here is where I stand at this point except I have finished the hatch (excuse the mess)....

So, I have gotten my aluminum in and waiting on my trim. Then the skinning begins.
