Starting a new Teardrop

Postby kirkewing » Wed Dec 09, 2020 2:34 pm

Hi everyone,

My name is Kirk. I am just starting a new teardrop build based here in Seattle. I am building mine based on the design by Tony Latham. I am using his book and his CNC files as a starting point. This has been a really great way to kickstart my project.

Book: https://www.tonylatham.net/building-a-t ... ailer.html
CNC Files: https://www.tonylatham.net/teardrop-cnc-files.html

I have bought most of my wood, bought my tools and ordered my axle (that takes 12 weeks to get here!)

I am picking up my walls and skin today. I got a company to cut it for just $200 total for my wall skeleton and exterior walls. If there is anyone who needs some wood cut in the Seattle are let me know and I will pass on their details.

Going to get started on my build this weekend. So excited!

Thanks,
Kirk
