Hello from Nova Scotia, Canada

Postby TBRC WINGS » Thu Aug 04, 2022 5:18 pm

Hi folks! I am in just in the research stages right now. My plan is to DIY build a 4 x 8 teardrop and make it as light as possible. Fuel prices being what they are I retired my larger vehicle and bought a micro sized little car (Chevy Spark). So finished weight will be something I have to consider in my entire approach and build from frame to finish. I did purchase Albert Batemans (Oregon Batman) plans and watched the entire build video series as well as several other ones to give me some ideas. Now looking for more info and insight. Man its been a decade since I have been on a forum so this should be interesting. :)

Welcome aboard.
I'll be done when I'm finished, if that's not fast enough, take a number.

Hi, I'm in Nova Scotia too! Pretty much the same story; I'm looking to build the 14' or the 15' from the vintage plans page. Trying to balance small and light with roomy enough for 2 with hiking\biking gear.
