Greetings, I live in KC, MO area and am interested in building a square drop foamie with PMF. I have a basic 4x8 trailer and want the square-drop to be easily removable. I'm typically camping by myself. I've been doing a lot of backpacking and getting to trailhead night before and sleeping in truck is what is mostly getting me to point of wanting something a little more comfortable.

I'm afraid the comfort might be a detriment to getting on trail early instead of sleeping in.

Welcome fron NY. Sounds like a great plan. I got interested from same motivation except for canoe put ins instead of trail heads. I got the utility trailer - with same removable cabin plan - but haven't gotten past that point.
