hey all!

obviously new here, looking around for ideas and inspiration. going to be starting a build hopefully next fall/winter. initially thinking around a 6x10 sleeping quarters only for myself, the wife and 2 potentially 3 kids, with a full/queen bed and some sort of bunk bed setup. potentially going to 12 long and doing back hatch outdoor kitchen.

plenty of time until then, so ill be here learning and exploring. looking forward to it!

Welcome! Sounds ambitious and like a load of fun. At the size you are thinking weight might need to be a serious priority, that and an appropriate chassis. Can't wait to see it start coming together.

thanks!!

i was considering a used popup frame if i can find one for the right price, or looking into the new 5x10 harbor freight trailer to use as a base. potentially full custom frame depending on what final design and floorplan come out to be. i like the idea of the foamie build but would want to add heavy support for the bunks on the walls and bracing on the ceiling at minimum. any advice or recommendations is always welcome.
