Greetings everyone. Starting my ‘64th year joining the group to learn and share more.
My wife and I live in Lutz, FL (near Tampa). We are retired and enjoying traveling and more time with the grandkids.
Most of our travel is on two wheel. Specially a 2022 Harley Davidson Road Glide. I am rebuilding a 7x14x6 cargo trailer to tow behind our pickup for the trips where we want to go to a destination for extended touring. Recent travels have been Tampa to Milwaukee twice, up the east coast thru New England, Nova Scotia to Windsor Canada, Tampa to Chicago to LA via Route 66 and back. Last year we towed the bike to CO and then Yellowstone. This was our first experience with towing instead of touring. On that trip we discovered issues with the trailer, hence the rebuild to replace wood, add structure, and insulation. It will still primarily be for towing but I’m adding the possibility of primitive camping from it.
