Hello TD'rs.
I have gotten the teardrop bug. The looks, style, efficiency and type of camping all appeal to me. All of your projects are inspiring!
My car is a '92 subaru 4x4 wagon that tows very well. I'll upgrade in a while but it will still be a 4x4 wagon.
Currently I have a 4x8 ft utility trailer with a 3500 lb drop axle. Being efficiency minded I like the idea of having a multi purpose platform with modules that I can change. My other trailer (650 lb capacity) holds my 14 ft dinghy. That may be a better platform to build on, if I can keep the weight of the TD down, but I will check that out. I have some experience with lightweight and strong aluminum and wood structures (airplanes).
one idea is to make the utility trailer into a flat bed and then build a teardrop pod to attach.
Anyways, thanks for all of your posts. Until I have finished off some small reno's and a few other projects I will continue to drool over your teardrops!

Hello Michael, glad you like out little day care center for the addicted TDer. Drool away! It allows time for design and gathering tools and such. We just ask that you keep us supplied with pictures cause we luv em. And they keep the bubble oil level.
