Welcome from another Texas beach camper. We tented it on the beach for years. Then I discovered tears. Nothings better after a day at the beach than to take a camp shower and get out of the sand and wind at night.
You have found the right spot. Take a look around and there are plenty of ideas here. And more help than you could want.
This does come at a price though. We take pic's as payment. It is the currency here. Have fun...

Hey beachcamper,

welcome to the forum. Sounds like you've come to the right place.

Keep us in the loop, with your ideas, plans, and like Steve says, "PICS"! ;)

Mostly High Island, Searim, Surfside. The shot was taken at a Kayak fishing toury at Matagorda.
Big Shell?? don't think I would pull it there. It hanles the sand good but not an off roader.
I am planning a smaller one now for tourny's when the wife doesn't go.
I would probally use that for PINS.

Welcome to the forum.

I usually camp down at Big Shell once a year, around 45mi marker. We usually tent camp though. We've pulled trailers with no problems (well, the problems were before we got there).

The weed han't been as bad as last year. The 50 miles down a beach is not as tame as that. PINS can get unforgiving.
