Found you site by accident while looking for trailer plans. Am looking to build a MK II model of a disaster response trailer. We regularly respond to tornadoes and missing persons incidents for days at a time. We sleep, eat and work out of our trailer. It needs to be small, agile and self contained with generator, 120v, 12v, flood and work lights, several radios and antennas, room for equipment, room to sleep and a small kitchen. Any thing extra is gravy.
Built the first one, worked well for nine years but it time for improvement. I've been reading some posts and have learned much and gotten some great ideas. Thanks for creating a great site. :applause:

Welcome to the forum sardog,

Disaster response sounds really interesting. I'm sure you could share some really dandy stories with the group. Hope you find the plans you are looking for here and just relax for awhile and enjoy some good company.

Have fun and I'll see you around. :)

Kinda like the looks of Rik Keller's Roadtoad except set up higher to move over debris easier.

Image to the playground Sardog.

There are several builds that would make a great bug out/disaster relief trailer.

You might check out MikeS's new build:

Steve Fredericks new build:

There are several more that are larger. Our's is fairly large and if put on a custom trailer would work too.

Do you want something you can stand it? If so the Winter Warrior and Escape hatch work great. They can be found in the Hall of Fame.

Enjoy the site and please feed the need
