Image to the playground Denise. Traveling with an animal in a td should be the same as any other vehicle. Make sure they are comfortable, in a crate and have water and ventilation.

My one issue with the vent problem is you will get lots of dust in your teardrop if the windows are open. Kitty might be better off in the car. 8)

One request--- :pictures: :pictures: :pictures: Keeps the bubble oil level.

Cat in a tear.........eh??? Prolly isn't a good idea to have an air bed in there.

I live in Wasilla, and will be headed down to America mid November. Gonna do the Pacific Coast Hwy on our way to AZ. Maybe we will run into one another.

:) Hello to you Denise & DH-

If you are coming down Hwy 101 you'll be traveling through our neck of the woods. Give us a post if you're needing a place to stop in Northern Coastal California. You can check out the IRG link below to see about us...Dean (of the Redwoods) & Joanie (TDN). The IRG site has some highlights of the drive (see Nanny's TravelBlog) along with places to see and lots of links to other spots along the route you'll be traveling. Have a wonderful, and safe journey.

My Dad was stationed in Kodiak during WWII and used to share tales of the area when I was a little girl. I still have a set of crayons from way back that have a picture of Kodiak on the front and are in a small hand sewn case. He also had some asst. trinkets I used to love to look at from there.
He turned 85 last Monday and would get a kick out of knowing someone from Alaska was passing thru with a new (not used, but "previously owned") teardrop. He and my Mom came down to the IRG 2006 for the food and browsing the tears. They are Teardrop Groupies

Bye for now--and don't forget 'dem pictures...you gotta have pictures.

Welcome aboard! Best fishing I've ever experienced while living in Alaska....Kodiak Island!!! hands down!!!...doesn't hurt that we were doing surveying and had a helicopter to get us around to all the good places however. Just keep an eye on the really Big Browns! Doug....ex-Alaskan
