I been thinking about building a travel trailer for quite some time. I found this site today and am absolutely thrilled at the site. I've looked at a lot of the different links and offerings and you guys need to be commented on an incredible wonderful site. This is great.

You are right on, Abba, this is an incredible, wonderful site. Now, the next time you post, I hope you will be telling us about the steel trailer frame you just bought and are in the midst of planning a teardrop build.

Many of us have been in the same boat, but are now proud owners of teardrop trailers that we either bought new, or have rescued from behind an old barn, built it ourselves from published plans or slapped it together strictly from what your own mind wants it to look like. Either way, you will surely enjoy camping with some of the nicest people you could ever meet. Do try to attend a gathering and see for yourself...........

Check out our many pics and research the many builds and their construction methods. Good luck on whatever you decide.

Roly ;)

I'm from Syracuse, New York. I presently own an 28ft Argosy. Always been an Airstream fan. Going to clean the Argosy up in the Spring.. sell it.. Build the tear drop to use this summer while I look for a 30+ foot Airstream. Want to use the tear drop this summer in the NYS finger lakes especially Watkins Glen. It's nice to meet such friendly people right from the git go. Thanks for the hospitality.

Hi abba511,

Welcome to the forum. I for one, am curious to see what are going to build, so please be sure and post lots of pictures as you build. Whatever you decide, build it to "your" specifications, and you will end up with just what you want.

See you around.
