Hi ya'll from Symrna, Tennessee

Postby zbrownmd » Thu May 01, 2008 1:08 pm

We picked up a new Tear Drop from Plesant Valley Trailers in SugarCreek, OH....very nice folks.

We drove up there from Middle Tennessee in a snow/ice storm Feb 22...what a trip, but that's a whole 'nother story.

Anyway,

We're very please with the quality of work those kids did.

Now we're looking for southeastern and/or mid-western gatherings.

Where do you find that kind of info?

Let us know if anyone around the area is interested in a mini-gathering.

5/16 THRU 5/18 The brown county blowout. We have a couple from Texas and some folk from Alabama. You are 282 miles away. Look it up in the midwest gatherings.

You should try to contact Sid on this forum. He and his wife also live in Smyrna, and they are on their 3rd TD. I'm sure he could help you out!

Hey

zbrownmd,

Welcome to the forums. My wife and I used to live in Smyrna years ago (309 East Sagefield, west of 24) and I worked out at the airport in building 690 when Flagship Airlines/American Eagle did their overnight maintenance in Smyrna. I used to put my bassboat in at the Jefferson Creek boatlaunch. I sure miss that part of Tennessee, best place that we have lived over the years; was a fun time in our lives! Glad to have ya here.

P.S. There used to be some occasional Bigfoot reports around the Lamar Rd. area over to Walter Hill area of Percy Priest Lake. Who would guess.
Why hasn't anyone found a dead bigfoot? When was the last time you found a dead deer, bear, coyote, fox, squirrel, etc. that died in the woods.........Hmmm.

Hello to everyone and thanks for all the posts. We appreciate all of your
info and comments. Can't wait to find a few other teardrops out in the wilds.

We are trying to make an effort to get out at least once a month and we are looking for anyone doing something during the summer months.

Our May trip we will be going to the Memphis in May BBQ contest the 15th 16th 17th. Nothing like Blues and BBQ!! We are staying at T.O. Fuller state park so if anyone else is interested we would enjoy meeting you.

Middle Tennessee is beautiful as mentioned.....if anyone hasn't made it here yet there are quite a few lakes and parks to be enjoyed.

Hope to meet folks soon. Diana and Zig Brown
