Hello!! From Galena Park, Texas

Postby edden251 » Mon Jun 02, 2008 12:07 pm

Hi everyone! I'm new to the forum and I'm looking forward to learning a lot. I plan to start building my teardrop in July. I have a basic idea as to what type of teardrop I would like to build. My main goal with my teardrop is for it to be comfortable, user friendly, and all around fun to use for me and my 82 year old mother to go camping in. I will keep everyone posted on how my build is coming along. :) :) :)

Welcome Edden. Enjoy your build and your trailer. Just curious which trailer you are building, or have you narrowed it down to at least five. You have found the generic benroy plans at the top of the page right. Even if you do not use the benroy profile these are quite helpful, I used them with my weird build, a lot.

Hi del and thanks for the welcome! I like the benroy and the weekender. I haven't decided which of the two I would like to build. I also have taken to the Desert Dawg camper. I'm really in awe of the creativity I have seen in some of these campers. It's great! :) :)

The Desert Dawg was and continues to be very inspiring to me, that's for sure! Whatever you decide to do, read lots of build stories and take lots of pictures! I have read Joanne's build boook about 30 times!
God Bless

Hi edden251,

Welcome to the forum. As soon as you figure out what you want to build, if you have any questions, just ask. And when you build, be sure and post lots of pictures, so we can keep up with your progress. Hope you have fun here and enjoy yourself.

See you around.

Image to the playground Edden. You mom will love teardrop camping. Mine is small enough to stand in mine and she loves it.

Have a good time planning and remember to ask Mom too. ;)
