Watching tv the other night and saw a show on teardrops fell in love and have got to get me one. I have been camping most all my life but mostly in tents or just under the stars. Long story short I'm going to build me one of those weekenders asap. I reckon you know I'm new

Oldman,

Welcome to the forum...

The weekender sounds like fun. Are you going to take pictures as you build? ;)

Mikes is right, get the pictures taken and we will guide you as you post. One thing you need to know is they keep the bubble oil level. Very important 8)

Welcome to the show. I got the Bug much the same way. The wife and I were on one of our Tahoe trips last summer and saw a woody tear and had to have one, thought that was the coolest thing. Started in Sept. Went camping last weekend :applause:

I seen one while camping and thought thats to small for me. Well the more I thought about what I actually use my tent for when we camp and see how small my tent was I decided Id give it a try. Started buying all the wood and found the utility trailer at Harbor Freight. Im going to attempt 5x8 on a 4x8. Dropped off the wood and trailer this weekend and printed some stuff I needed to start out with. Hopefully we will at least start the weekender soon!! I've decided to put a bunk in for my child instead of cabinets.
