Welcome Stoner. I think you will reallly enjoy this bunch of TDers and your build. Good luck. We are from just east of Tulsa, OK. Where in Missouri are you? There are lots of good TD people in your neck of the woods and all are ready to help in any way they can. Hope we will get to meet you one of these days soon. You are always welcome at any of our gatherings with or without a TD. lots of people come out just to see our rigs, get ideas, and ask questions.

Again, welcome.

Welcome to the board, Stoner. You should check out the Hall of Fame to get some ideas of the size and shape of your build. Where in Missouri are you from? My sweet wife of 56 years came from Doniphan, "15 miles north of the Arkansas line, Ripley County". Keep us up to date on how your build is going. Good luck, ask questions and you'll get answers.

Welcome to the forum!

You will probably find the Generic Benroy Plans link above helpful. No matter which design tear you settle on the building techniques will probably apply. Sdtripper2's Index also has many, many topics that have been discussed in depth. Good luck with your build and I will enjoy following your progress.

Welcome newbie !!!! I see your kind of in central Missouri?
My best advice is to see one or more IN PERSON ! You need to stand up to it, lift the tongue , crawl inside and find that you won't be claustrophobic , and lift the hatch.

If you & dad wanna take a good drive, come see us this weekend at Crawford SP just south of Ft Scott , KS .... there will be about 10 good looking teardrop trailers of different kinds !!!!
No reservations required, we've got the group camp reserved and we're a fun bunch !!!

Image to the playground. We do indeed have a gathering planned and you are most welcome to come.

Now the picture thing---gotta do it---keeps the bubble oil level. 8)

starting from scratch

Postby stoner1 » Tue Sep 30, 2008 10:50 pm

Finally got this thing figured out.( not to good with the comp. stuff). LOL I have got started on a trailer. It needs lots of work but it was free. Cant beat the pric I hope. Looking forward to working on it and interacting with everyones great advice. And i will take ANY advice at all.

The trailer was a coleman pop up camper. I took it totally apart. I am rebuilding the axles and reinforcing all the welds.

I have found alot of great plans and pics on here. I am hoping to take a little of this and that and putting it all togethar. :D
