THE TEARDROP LIFESTYLE

I am posting this thread in the newbie section to aid in the understanding of our obsession..... so please forgive me if you feel it is misplaced.

Halloween eve old what's her name and I were invited to the kids for a halloween party and pitch in dinner. I was instructed that we would be taking the teardrop. ?????????????? was my reaction . It was explained that I have a habit of wanting to go home about the time the party gets going good and the addition of adult beverages made it more practical and safer to just camp out. Cool !!!! was my reaction. We had a nice bonfire and about 10:30 I was all in , so I crawled into my rolling bedroom kicked on the heater and found a good radio station and snuggled in and drifted off. I don't know when she joined me but it was sure nice to have all the comforts of home and be visiting without putting anyone out. Just a perk of having a teardrop

Recently my daughter and her husband came to town so tha he could remodel another daughters bathroom. ( daughter one lives in Idaho) One night into their 2 week stay I get a call "Dad can you bring your tear over here so we can have a comfortable place to sleep?"

Well of course i took it over and I don't think I'll be getting anymore ribbing from my son in law about "that cute little trailer"

 for the teardrop lifestyle

We always use the tear for a spare bed when we have guests. But, we take the tear, and make them sleep in the house.

We decided kinda last minute yesterday to have a cook out on some property we own beside the South Canadian River. Made a few calls, hooked up the tear (which stays packed with camping equipment), and off we went. Everything already being loaded made it fun for everyone, including me! Before I got my teardrop, I'm the one who did all the gathering and loading. It was a great Halloween!!
