Coming out of the Lurking Closet

Postby Jonolin » Sat Nov 22, 2008 11:42 pm

Hey there. I've been lurking around for a little while now and figured it was about time I said "Hello." You can add one more Georgian to the list, though I still think of myself as a Floridian even after having lived in Georgia for almost 19 years now.

I just recently bought a Pleasant Valley 5x8 Spirit after spending many months looking at the various manufactured tears. No thoughts of building one since me and power tools is not a pretty sight. Looks like I got it just in time to wait for spring. But, hey, that gives me plenty of time to outfit the sucker. And, maybe an excuse to head home to Florida for a weekend!

Thanks for the warm welcome. As far as pics go, right now all I've got are some less than stellar camera phone shots. I'll see how bad they look. Meantime, I've gotta find where my wife has hid the real digital camera.

Welcome to the forum. As a Pleasant Valley owner myself, I think you'll be more than pleased with your purchase. I bought mine last december and spent all winter personalizing it. Again, welcome, and ask all the questions you want and you'll be surprised at the answers you recieve.

Hey, FireLion, your positive comments about the Pleasant Valley teardrop helped me decide to go with the Pleasant Valley.

My crappy camera phone pics may now be lost. I accidentally washed my phone yesterday. I was wondering why that one flannel shirt weighted more than the others.

So, I definitely gotta get the real digital camera out.
