No problem, David. Nice tear :applause: :applause: Take a look through the Hall Of Fame for some interior ideas, and through sdtripper2's index (right below the photo link) for galley pics. Some REALLY cool, and REALLY well done stuff!!!  :applause: :applause: :applause:

Nice looking tear, should be ready for the April gathering,s either Austin, Nv. or Monument Valley. Not sure about the suicide doors on the Tear. Looks like rain could be driven into the edges of the doors. Looking forward to seeing you, at a gathering. Jim G 8)

Welcome to the forum. I recognize that teardrop as one built in Logan, Utah. The suicide doors were the one thing I was questioning. It is a good looking teardrop. I am also with the Utah Salty Teardrops Group but did not make the Fall gathering although I made the Spring one in Bryce. I am sure you will enjoy putting your own "touch" into your teardrop. This forum is a great place for ideas.

With out seeing it up close, I would worry about rain blowing into the Jams on the doors. But if it is sealed well the shouldn't be a problem. If they do leak you can always use aluminum gutter materal to deflect the water. Jim G

I don't know. My Thoughts: There may be more of a tendency for spray to enter through the door seals as you travel in a rain. However, if the seals are good, it probably will not happen until they age. Also, if a door comes unlatched, it could be ripped off in the wind. A front hinged door would tend to be closed by the wind. Usually, the doors stay latched if they are kept locked while traveling. You may/may not experience either happening. I think these are only minor conditions to be aware of, and you will have a lot of fun enjoying a good looking teardrop. From all I saw, the teardrop offers a lot of value for the bucks.
