Hi all
My name is Bill ----- AKA MANG ------ my mates think Im Batty.

A retured scout leader for 23 years in Melbourne AU I am now looking at "camping" in some form of luxury - - building a TD is the 1st step.

I have started - 4x9 chassis done with a floor - now for the hard part.

Sme great ideas on the forum - I look forward to sharing my build with you all and hopefully you will allow me to pick your brains from time to time during the hard bits.

Keep Smiling :)

Image to the playground Bill! Sounds like you are well on your way to comfort. How much is up to you and the wallet. Be sure to take lots of Pictures to share cause you can't go back and they really do keep the bubble oil level. ;)

Enjoy!

Good to have you aboard, Bill. Teardrop camping is a giant step up, from sleeping in a tent on the ground. You know we answer questions and look forward to your 'down under' pics. Good luck on your build.

Welcome ~ 8)

Hope you find the forum welcoming. You will enjoy the ready
made bed when camping. As we get on with camping the
pleasure of a bed out of the elements is a great alternative
to laying on the ground in a cold wind swept slikker tent.

Never fear ~ you questions are welcome and will be answered
by many a helping spirit here.
