Just found this place, a buddy told me about it. We've been toying with the idea of a small camper to tow behind my pickup on some trips out to South Dakota, we've done the tent-camping thing, and that old ground gets cold and wet, and we're not getting any younger, either . He mentioned that he'd been eyeballing a couple of teardrop sites and looking at plans, so I thought I'd better get up to speed, too.
We both work in cabinet shops, (different places), so we have some minor woodworking knowledge. We haven't made any concrete decisions about a build, yet, but that's why I'm here, to nose around, get ideas, and pick brains
I'm the mouthy one, he doesn't talk or post on forums, probably because his wife won't let him talk, period. Which is kinda why he likes to get away, I suppose. Lemme nose around here awhile, and see what kind of questions I can come up with.

Looking around is a great way to get interested. You might also want to look at the Generic Benroy plans and down load them. Wonderful tool and can be adapted to most builds.

Hopefully you have found the Hall of Fame too. Enjoy and keep in touch.
