Hi from PA

I've been lurking around for a while, and an very interested in getting a teardrop. I don't have the skills at the moment to build one, but I have been toying with the idea of building a 4' x 5' camp kitchen/storage trailer. I found some plans online for a similar type of trailer, but was thinking of trying to design my own to look like a "rimple". It wouldn't need a lot of the extras many people put in their teardrops like insulation, electricity (though some twelve volt lighting might be nice), lots of nice cabinetry, etc. K.I.S.S.!!!!

Kellyaynn,
Welcome to the forum. You will find lots of help around here. Where you located in Pa? We are located in Altoona. Have you joined the TearJerkers. Its located at the bottom line in the above heading. I believe theres going to be a campout this coming weekend. And a couple more this summer. That way you can go for the day and check out some Teardrops up close. If ya cant go for the weekend visit for the day.
Again welcome.

Hi Kelly, Welcome to the group. If it is inspiration, motivation or just plain old information you have come to the right place. These little trailers are great to build and great to own. Don't stress about a lack of skill, that comes from the experience. Keep it lite, keep it simple and enjoy the ride.

Cheers Dave ;)
