Cheers from South Florida: Not for too long

Ive been reading around for quite some time and taking notes, gotta love information straight from the source. I've been active in many forums for many years. For no less than 10 years I have wanted to build and travel in self built TD but to no avail.

Till the time comes. I currently live in Ft. Lauderdale, FL (born and raised) and plan on moving to southern california late this year.

To keep it somewhat short, I drive a 63 ford falcon and plan on taking the Route 66 drive, building a TTT shell (to haul what left I own) to tag along the way, first stopping in NC to visit my grandfather, than head north to chicago to get it all going.

I plan on starting the build in a few weeks. but im gonna thank you all in advance, and hope to show how things progress.

I know where the SW ranches are, just had some relatives move to griffin a little east of 75, or at least I think it was griffin.

No 289 or V8, just old reliable, a 200 I6 and C4 taken from a 68 mustang.
