Hello from Wyoming!

Postby JennieL » Wed Aug 19, 2009 7:20 pm

Hi all....My husband Mark and I just purchased our first tear drop. I had been thinking about one for a few years. After two disasterous experiences trying to find motel rooms while vacationing :x , we decided it was time. We are awaiting the hitch, but expect to have lots of fun once we start using it. I look forward to lots of good tips and information from this website.

Hi Jennie.

You are in for a lot of fun. We have had our Tear for over a year and only on 4th of July Weekend did we ever have problems with our first destination. (We planned for this and I think we hit the third spot for a campsite.)

LOL, no kidding. I've been snowed on in early August near Pinedale.

Welcome aboard the crazy train.
Holy cow, Rose is a teenager now! Done? Surely you jest. A teardrop is never "done".

Welcome to the forum from the west of you. I am very familiar with Wyoming weather from camping in the Wind River Range, Tetons, and Yellowstone. You will absolutely love the teardrop camping in those mountains.
