Postby tnkcarclnr » Sun Nov 29, 2009 10:38 pm

Hello and thank you for letting me join your little club  yes I had to say that. Anyway I am another accidental visitor A friend of mine bought a building and I am helping remodle it .The history of the building is that the first Gilkie trailers Were manufactured there in 1923 . so I did some reaserch and ended up here . I do not have a teardrop yet but when the time comes I THINK I know whear I am going to build it

All right another Hoosier :applause:

I'm just 45 +/- miles North East of ya near Crawfordsville / Lafayette.

It sure would be nice to have a big shop to work in I have built 4 and all were built in my driveway :?

We are very lucky to be in a very active tearjerkers group here in Indiana.

Kurt and Scott work hard to coordinate 3 -4 gatherings a season and we have a great time.

If there is anything I can do to help just P.M. me.
Growing older but not up !

Welcome to the forum.
A good way (probably the best way) to do some research on teardrops is to stop by a gathering and ask questions.

Our Spring gathering will be at Spring Mill State Park May 20-23, 2010. (Mitchell, Indiana)

You should plan to stop in and check out the trailers.

If you have questions, please let me know, we're always happy to help.
