Newbie from Dallas

Postby Gwood » Sat Dec 12, 2009 11:02 am

Hello Everybody,
I just wanted in introduce myself and say what a great site this is.
I've been lurking here for several months while I was building a Squidget from Dale's plans. I would have posted earlier but I was too busy making sawdust and all my questions were pretty much answered by earlier posts.
I don't think my build would have been half as good without the great info that I've been able to find here. Anyway, I'm about 99% done with it and decided to post pictures in the album if anyone is interested.

Cheers,
George

That's not fair!!! Practically finishing your trailer without posting progress pics..... How can we all share your trials and tribulations along the way???

That being said (all in good fun), looking real good!! :beautiful:

If I were to build a standie for myself, that would be a design I would seriously consider. I am sure you will enjoy using it as much as building it.

Dewd! You waited until you were done. Thereby depriving us of the chance to see the pile of steel, wood, bolts, and other stuff morph into a cool trailer.

Oh, welcome aboard.
Holy cow, Rose is a teenager now! Done? Surely you jest. A teardrop is never "done".

George,

That is a nice looking camper, but we would like to see more pictures of the build. Don't you have some more pictures to post?

Steve,
I kept thinking during the build that I needed to take more pictures, but that was always right before I went to sleep. Unfortunately, these pics are about all I've got.
Cheers,
George

Welcome!

That is one nice TTT! Did I read correctly that you built it in a few months? Wow!

If I ever get mine done, I hope to see you at a few gatherings.

Lovely trailer! Maybe one day we will build a standie. We finished our td in October but got busy with kids and didn't get out camping in it. Spring will come soon enough.
