I registered a few weeks back on Tear Drop Talk and Tear Jerkers and now I'm here, too!

I've gotten as far as convincing myself, that a TD is the way to go; and got Maria to agree to look at what they offer.

I'm an over the road, heavy haul driver and Maria is mom, cook,
gardener,etc,etc.....

Camping,archery,fishing,hunting is me. Camping,hiking,cooking,
gardening is Maria. Home improvement and maintenance...
I build stuff; she grows and decorates stuff.

I'll be doing the most reading and posting(have done bunches already), but we may get her on from time to time.

Thanks for what I have already and will yet learn.

Welcome to the group Billy K, from an old Aussie trucker, now a happy teardrop builder and camper.
Looking forward to hearing more about your build and seeing some pics.
Enjoy the experience,

Cheers Dave

Welcome aboard, Billy K, you are about to enter a life-changing event. Take lots of pics of your build, post em and we'll all enjoy checking them out. After all, most of us have been there, and know what you are going through. Ask questions, take notes and explore all of the various info on this message board. Good luck on your build.

Thanks for the hardy handshakes.

I read the whole build page of the Desert Dawg yesterday. I've read a couple others, as well.

I'm planning to attend the Spring gathering of the Hoosier Tearjerkers and continue reading and drooling along the way.

I've got my eye on a trailer and have talked to a couple builders/sellers.
They have each offered their help and experience.

I'll probably get some from this one and some from that one. That seems to be the way most get this journey rollin'.

So, I'm feeling pretty good about the start...now if I can just find a jeannie-in-a-bottle...
