New T@bbers from British Columbia

Postby RoamsterRos » Mon Dec 28, 2009 3:18 pm

Greetings!

What an awesome forum for tiny trailer lovers.

We picked up our brand-new T@B back in late March of last year and got on the road with it almost immediately. Over the course of the summer we probably logged about 8,000 miles with trips from our hometown of Penticton to the Columbia Gorge in Washington State, out to the Oregon Coast, up to Alaska (took it on the ferry to Juneau), and back down through the Yukon. There were also many smaller long-weekend camping trips in the British Columbia Kootenays and the Washington Cascades. Our last trip was down to Spokane over Canadian Thanksgiving... gotta love that furnace! :applause:

Here's a pic of it out on its inaugural journey - in the Yakima Canyon.

We blog about our T@B adventures at http://roamsters.com/index.php?s=t%40B

Needless to say, we LOVE our T@B and can now fully appreciate why you folks are all so keen as well!

Cheers,
Ros

Small world, Juneau Dave, 'cause you're right, we stayed at Mendenhall for 3 glorious nights (in a too-big pull-thru spot).

The resident bear rocked our T@B, and we fed the mooch dog until we found out it too was 'resident' and not lost as we initially suspected.

I don't suppose this is you?

Greetings from the Olympic Peninsula! Perhaps we'll cross paths down here in the Evergreen State.

No not me...but my subdivision backs up to the campground so we camp, or ride bikes or canoe in there all summer. Right now, the lake is used for skating and the campground itself is groomed ski trails. It is trully a wonderflul place to live.

Thanks skammers and dreadcptflint,

Skammers, you'll probably see us in the Prince's parking lot one day, loading up with stuff before heading southbound.

Other than that, we do cross the line just for lunches at Trino's. LOVE their salsa!

Cheers,
Ros

Hi PaPa Smurf

Sorry to hear that the salesman pulled the T@B right out from under you.

We bought our T@B last March, spent a huge part of the summer and fall in it and LOVE it. Considering I'd never pulled a trailer before, I couldn't believe how easy it was. Basically didn't even know it was there most of the time.

Cheers,
Ros
