Just got back last night from a very long one day trip from Pensacola, FL to Gray (Macon area), GA to pick up my teardrop. Saw it on Craigslist last week and had to have it. It is a Hunter Shadow that was built for Eddie Bauer as a promo (what I have been told). It is cute as a button. I have a dark green Eddie Bauer edition Explorer as the tow vehicle - so it makes for a handsome pair. The unit was in good condition prior to the purchase, but unfortunately there has been a lot of heavy rain in the SE and there are wet spaces at the base of both of the side doors and a small spot in the galley. Hopefully these will dry out and be no worse for the wear. It has a ceramic heater and also a small fan inside. The previous owner also purchased a portable "swamp cooler". I am curious to see how it works. The wiring had recently been redone by the prior owner, but unfortunately the lights only work on the left side. Any suggestions for that?
I know that I will have more questions and will appreciate any input from all the veterans on this forum.
Glad to finally be one of you and look forward to meeting those of you in the SE area.
