Newb in NC

Postby teamleader » Tue Jan 26, 2010 7:56 am

Hello all! I will be brief: I am looking at purchasing some teardrop plans. I want plans that include full blueprints and I have read that Kuffel Creek is the way to go. True or not?
This site has been a tremendous help already and I look forward to meeting some of y'all on the road!

Hello Chris,

Welcome to the forum. Full blueprints? Not in the Kuffel Creek Plans that I have. Back in it's inception Kuffel was one of the few building guides available. The technology has grown exponentially since then. Look closely at the Generic Benroy plans in the headings at the top of this page. It is a much more comprehensive and complete building guide. Also we have other builders here on the forum that sell building plans that are excellent, and if you want to do a replica of one of the classic teardrops there is even a guy that sells full size profile drawings. The best and most current building advise is all for free however, it's within these pages. Good luck with your endeavor.

Hi Chris, welcome to the wonderful world of teardrops, good luck on your search for your TD plans.

Some days all you can do is smile and wait for some kind soul to come along and pull your ass out the bind you've gotten yourself into.

Thank you for the information and encouragement guys! I have just looked at the forum and saw the "2+2" string. That also was a help.
