newbie from alabama

That certainly seems like a possibility. You could paint or put aluminum on the bottom half and have the fiberglass shell for the top. You could put trim around the connecting point to help blend them together. Might be an interesting concept. :thumbsup:

I will fiberglass the bottom and make it smooth on the side where you will not be able to tell they are joined togteher

I did not think about sides sloping inward on the fiberglass shell so I guess its back to the drawing board.
