Postby MERF » Fri Feb 05, 2010 9:25 pm

Well Hello there TTT land, my name is Merf and i was online trying to find some small windows to put in my cargo trailer and i came across this wonderful furom. I had no clue that there were other folks that has lost there marbles just like i had and wanted to convert my 6x12 cargo trailer into a living quarters during hunting season and a few other times out of the year. when i finally get to start my conversion in the spring i will be sure to post up plenty of pics. till then i will be lurking all around the sight taking it all in and learning all the same time.

Take care, Merf

Hey Merf,

Welcome from the Beautiful Blue Ridge Mountains of Western NC! Yes, you are not the only 'crazy' one to catch the homemade camper bug. I sometimes still don't believe I didn't just go buy a used pop-up and decided to build a camper instead! But its a lot of fun!

Keep use posted as to your progress!

Merf,
Yep for sure theres alot of us out there who lost their marbles. Your in the Philly area. Im in Altoona, You should join the TearJerkers and you got quite a few TearDroppers in your area. Great folk who dont mind you picking their brains. Give you info where to get windows and such for your build. Go camping with them they have several gatherings through the summer. Check out their rigs.
Enjoy and again welcome,
Bill
Just click on "TearJerkers" in the heading above on the bottom line.
Hope to see you on the road.

Yes, it is an illness not to be taken lightly. This site and warm weather is a good start on the long road back from the depths of this illness. Just so you know, there is no true cure and it is an illness that you never get over! Just ask the people who have built multiple trailers.lol:

Welcome, Welcome, Welcome!!!
Have a great day and hoping the weather is great no matter where you are!!!
