Hello all

Really like this site.

Trying to decide between 5x10 Benroy or Kenskill.

Almost there...

Hi Don, welcome to the best teardrop and tiny trailer site on the internet. In order to get involved soon, check out the vintage plans and other build info on this site. Hmmm, Benroy or Kenskill, what a desision you have to make. Kind of makes a difference if you want to be able to have a storage closet up front and have a more streamlined design, or maximize the interior room by going with the Benroy. The latter might be an easier build.

Good luck on which ever you choose, and remember, take pics and post them. Swing on down to So Cal sometime and we'll talk teardrops over a cup of coffee.

Roly

That sound like a good plan. I do visit the area from time to time with work and family.

Hi Don,
I had the same problem when I built my first trailer. So I built the front to look like a Kenskill and the back to look like a Benroy. That was my Coca-Cola teardrop 5x10 I built in 2001. Welcome and get ready to build more than just one teardrop. 8)

Thanks Eddie

I was about to finally decide and now I have more options. In your profile, Your TD. I tend to favor that shape.

The 10x5 Benroy just seems boxy. The Kenskill needs to be squared off at the front bottom.

Maybe the Cub with a boxed off lower front.

This is almost a bad as picking a paint color for a hotrod..

Welcome, you can't go wrong with either of those designs. Check out the Hall of Fame gallery. You will find a lot of ideas there.
Have a great day and hoping the weather is great no matter where you are!!!
