Well the quick and dirty explaination for what I am doing is I am a Road Rennie who travels the eastern states of US as a vendor at RenFests. Basically I get to dress up in costume for my job, I only work weekends [mostly] and live out of my truck for most of the year. My homebase is FL [yes at 33 I live with my parents during the off season] but from April to November I travel alot.

I recently recieved a 6x12 dual axel cargo trailer from a friend of the family [ :money: can we say FREEBIE]. I am hoping over the next few weeks while I am at my "homeshow" I can set this up as a decent home on the road. Ill be posting a Build thread on the "Cargo Conversion" list later once I get some more ideas and check finances. Also I do have some pics on my album of the trailer and the SUV that will be pulling it from FL to TN/KY to NY then back down to FL via NC.

Welcome to RenFest MI.

Sit down for a spell, and have a wine...

As you can see, the teardrop is quite comfortable in Renfest country!

I actuay know the woman who plays the queen in that pic,..she actually plays our queen down here at BARF [which is actually my homeshow and the one that I am gonna be working as I build up my Cargo conversion]. Oddly enough if things work out a bit with the company we may actually be vending at MI RenFest next season [2010 is currently full up]. From here in Tampa I go to TNRen [Murfreesboro,TN] next,..then onto KY Renfest [Eminence,KY],...then NY ,...then NC,...then its back home to FL in Nov for holidays with parents :wine party: before starting circuit all over again in January.

First let me say Welcome to our forum, and second, that my wife really gets into RenFest. She has gone to the festivals near Charlotte NC for several years now. Is this one that you work?

Make sure and post some pictures of your camper and the RenFest too. We just like pictures around here.

Hey! Welcome to the T&TTT group! I would think a TD would be great at a RenFest!

I'm originally from the Tampa area, my Sister/Bro-in-law live not too far from you in Beverly Hills/Citrus County. I recall great RenFests at Pinellas County Fairgrounds in Largo, FL also the medieval festival in Sarasota near Ringling used to be good! Attended the Sarasota festival as a school field trip years ago.

Anyway, welcome to the group - Keep posting pix of your progress!

Well,... now that I have the trailer I can start to imagine and design what I need as compared to what I want. I will ofcourse post the progress of build as it comes and once I can have something to start a thread with in Build heading. Also as I will be doing show each weekend Iwill post pics of that too. As to the NC show I am unsure as of yet where it is,...this is a new circuit for me as I now work for/with a new vendor [I make and sell scented sea salt potporri],...all I know for sure are my next few shows [FL,TN, then KY].
